You will be able to attend a maximum of 3 workshops from the following.
- Glue gun and giggles – crafts for all sections: A fun, creative craft session suitable for all sections
- Getting your unit out and about locally – fun in the fresh air: To prepare Leaders to safely and confidently take part in local outdoor activities through engaging activities.
- Active indoor games: A fun, energetic indoor session that encourages leaders to provide programming that allows girls to be active, build confidence, and work together through games.
- ‘Build a Campfire’ Session: Learn to make a ‘campfire’ session of Girlguiding songs, skits and stories. You do not need to read music or be a good singer to attend this session.
- How your programme fits the five essentials: Understand how the five essentials are covered in the Girlguiding programme and through the 40%.
- Understanding the Leadership Development Programme (LDP): For anyone who would like to do their LDP or any leader who wants to understand it to help someone else.
- Safe and Sound, Girlguiding You and Your Unit: Safe and sound workshop
- Membership, Growth and Retention: Learn how to grow and retain young members and volunteers
A buffet lunch will be available.
In the afternoon we will DEBRIEF what Girlguiding Dorset has been up to over the past 12 months and welcome Sally Smith giving us her talk on “The women who went around the world” . Read more about Sally here
The day will finish at 4.00pm approx..
